Story

Introduced in 1955, the Mercedes-Benz O 319 became one of Mercedes-Benz's first successful light commercial buses and transporters. Built on the L319 platform, it was widely used as a passenger bus, delivery vehicle, ambulance, camper, and special-purpose service vehicle.

This particular example has a remarkable history. Originally delivered to the Siemens factory fire brigade in Munich, it was uniquely specified with both a fire pump and the highly desirable panoramic windows. It later served the Geltendorf Volunteer Fire Brigade, receiving its characteristic red paint before eventually entering private collector ownership.

For many years it transported vintage motorcycles to classic events, and its journeys have been carefully documented, making it a particularly interesting and authentic historic commercial vehicle.
