The Clubhouse
One room for everything that happens behind the showroom doors — the founder who built the maison, the craft we practise on every car, and the journal we keep along the way.
The Founder
Andreas Weber
Andreas began his life among vehicles in the workshops of post-war Stuttgart, apprenticed at sixteen to a coachbuilder who had served the works at Untertürkheim.
By his early twenties he was sourcing pre-war Jaguars across the continent, sleeping in the back of a Mercedes 280TE that itself became a kind of mascot. The first atelier opened in 1994 — three lifts, a paint booth, and a single telephone line. The clients came by introduction, as they still do.
In 2011 he moved the maison to Polling, drawn by the engineering culture and the proximity to the German archives. The Kirchpl. 1 showroom became the public face of a practice that had, for two decades, operated almost entirely by word of mouth.
Today Andreas divides his time between the showroom, the Polling atelier, and the concours circuit. He still answers his own phone. He still drives every car before it leaves.

In his own words
“Provenance is the only currency that compounds. A documented life is worth more than a polished bonnet.”
“Restoration is a duty of stewardship, not an act of authorship. The car was finished the day it left the works — our role is to return it there.”
“The right buyer is more important than the right price. A car placed badly is a car we will see again, and not happily.”

What we do, in service of the car.
