As the successor to the 328 GTB, the 348 TB presented itself as a completely redesigned vehicle that represented a modern interpretation of the two-seater V8 mid-engined Berlinetta. The bodywork combined design elements of the iconic Testarossa, such as the characteristic air intakes along the flanks, with classic styling elements of past models. The front section in particular was reminiscent of legendary role models such as the 375 MM, whereby the 348 TB created a successful combination of tradition and innovation.
