## Highlights and general information A fully restored 1972 BMW E9 3.0 CS is for sale in Fjord Blue Metallic with beige-caramel leather interior.
The BMW E9 was produced from 1968 to 1975 as a sporty luxury coupé. The series was based on the BMW 2000 C / 2000 CS, with the body manufactured by Karmann. Initially introduced as the 2800 CS, the model was replaced in 1971 by the 3.0 CS and 3.0 CSi variants. The 3.0 CS had an enlarged 2,986 cc inline six-cylinder engine with twin carburetors and produced 180 hp. Approximately 4,455 units of the 3.0 CS were produced between 1971 and 1975.
