This Volvo P1800 ES presents in good overall condition following extensive restoration work carried out in 2006.

The body has been completely repainted in the attractive original-style Gold Metallic finish, giving the car a refined and elegant appearance. The exterior shows only minor imperfections, including small paint marks near the rear wheel arch and front edge of the hood.

The interior features brown velour upholstery, creating the comfortable and distinctive atmosphere typical of 1970s Swedish design. The vehicle has been regularly maintained, with the latest engine service completed in 2023.

The underbody remains solid and preserved, with previous welding work completed and only light surface rust visible. Overall, this P1800 ES represents a well-maintained classic with strong usability and collector appeal.

The Volvo P1800 ES is one of the most iconic models in Volvo’s history. Introduced in 1971 as the final evolution of the famous P1800 sports car, the ES version transformed the elegant coupé into a practical shooting brake while maintaining the original model’s sporty character.

Designed with a large glass rear hatch, increased practicality, and timeless Scandinavian styling, the P1800 ES quickly gained a cult following. Its unusual shape earned it the famous nickname “Snow White’s Coffin”, referring to its large glass panels and distinctive silhouette.
