Condition
This Porsche 356 B Super 90 has undergone extensive restoration work, originally restored in the USA and later further renewed in Germany. The bodywork presents beautifully in its classic red finish, with selected areas such as the doors and rear bumper refinished.
The interior has been carefully restored, including renewed front seats and refreshed trim, while maintaining the authentic character of the early Porsche cabin. Mechanical improvements include a rebuilt braking system, new alternator, new starter motor, and a new Weber carburetor.
The underbody is preserved, unwelded, and cavity sealed. The vehicle remains in very good overall condition, with only minor age-related cosmetic details such as small stone chips and light paint imperfections.
Story
The Porsche 356 is the foundation of Porsche’s legendary sports car heritage. Introduced in 1948, it was the company’s first production model and established the formula that would define Porsche for decades: a lightweight body, rear-engine layout, air-cooled boxer engine, and outstanding driving balance.
The 356 B Super 90, introduced in the early 1960s, represented an important step forward with improved performance, refined styling, and enhanced usability. The model gained popularity worldwide thanks to its reliability, sporting character, and elegant design.
Today, the Porsche 356 remains one of the most desirable classic sports cars, appreciated by collectors for its historical importance and pure driving experience.
