Identity Manual · 2026
The visual language of the house.
A quiet system of mark, word and material. These pages are the standard by which our identity is reproduced — in print, on the building, and on the screen.
One mark, four voices.
The horizontal lockup.
The wordmark is reserved for the masthead, the footer and formal correspondence. Always maintain a clear space equal to the height of the crest on every side. Never re-typeset the wordmark or substitute fonts.
The crest may appear alone — as a watermark, a favicon or a decorative accent at the head of a section. The wordmark must never be used without the crest.
Five tones. Nothing else.
A serif, a sans. Nothing more.

What we do. What we never do.
- Preserve clear space equal to the crest's height on every side.
- Place the gold crest only on ink, oxblood, or full-bleed photography.
- Use the dark crest on paper or bone backgrounds.
- Pair the wordmark with Cormorant Garamond and Inter — no substitutes.
- Render the crest at 24px minimum so the frame and serifs remain readable.
- Stretch, rotate, or recolour the crest outside the four approved variants.
- Place the gold crest on bone, paper or low-contrast photography.
- Add drop shadows, glows, or outer strokes to the mark.
- Re-typeset the wordmark or replace the tagline.
- Crop the oval frame or remove the fleur ornaments.
